IAAH and AED Scholarship to Attend the 10th World Congress of the IAAH - June 2013

The International Association for Adolescent Health (IAAH) in collaboration with the Academy for Eating Disorders (AED) is offering two scholarships to the 10th World Congress of the International Association for Adolescent Health, (IAAH) June 11-13, 2013, in Istanbul, Turkey. The scholarships, which consist of full registration to the World Congress, will be awarded to two individuals working in Turkey who are currently engaged in research, treatment, or prevention in the field of adolescent or young adult eating disorders. Preference will be given to those who are new to the AED and/or the IAAH.
The IAAH World Congress is a multidisciplinary program designed to be compelling and engaging for a wide range of professionals, including clinicians, public health practitioners, and youth workers, sociologists, psychologists and teachers. The AED association is a global leader in eating disorders research, education, treatment, and prevention.
Applications for the AED scholarships to the IAAH World Congress are due February 15, 2013 and should include:
• 100-200 word statement on how the scholarship will enhance the applicant’s ability to serve their local community and those in the field of eating disorders.
• Curriculum vitae or resume.
AED is pleased to partner with IAAH in this endeavor, helping raise awareness of the networking resources and tools AED offers that may be of value to professionals working with eating disorders.
