AED Board of Directors

The governing body of the Academy is the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors shall consist of the Executive Committee -- President, President-elect, and Secretary, Immediate Past-President, and Treasurer -- as well as six members at large. The Board is to be multidisciplinary. The Executive Committee shall advise and assist the President. Members of the Board of Directors serve 3-year terms. The Board is responsible for the supervision, control, and direction of the Academy and works to maintain the standards and effectiveness of the organization. The Board meets in person at least once per year and meets via conference call on a regular basis.
