This position provides float coverage for department wide psychology services and maintains a small outpatient case load. The Float Therapist provides assessment and varying levels of intervention including group and individual psychotherapy, short term treatment, cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapy. Responsibilities
As the Registered Dietitian for our facility, you will assess, plan, implement and evaluate the factors which influence the nutritional status of patients. Then using these factors, you will develop individualized meal plans where appropriate. Daily responsibilities include: participating in team assessments, supporting patients and staff with guidelines for meal preparations and outings, assisting patients with meal planning and proper portioning, and developing and facilitating nutrition groups, including an ongoing Intuitive Eating group. You will also provide nutrition therapy for outpatient clients and all clients in Shoreline programming. Additional responsibilities will also include: menu planning and budgeting, as well as supervision of diet techs. At Shoreline we adopt the philosophy of assisting our patients to understand and ultimately implement Intuitive Eating skills as they progress in their recovery.
Requirements
The right candidate will be registered with the American Dietetics Association, and will have professional experience in eating disorder treatment. Knowledge of Intuitive Eating concepts are necessary. Candidate must also be flexible and compassionate while being able to maintain professional boundaries. Some evening hours are required. This position is full-time.

The Eating Disorders Program at Atlantic Health is dedicated to helping adolescents and young adults who have eating disorders in both an inpatient and outpatient setting. We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Social Worker to join a specially trained multidisciplinary team of health care professionals including adolescent medicine physicians, eating disorder therapists, and nutritionists.
In this role, you will provide individual and group assessment and counseling services for our young patients (ages 11-21) and their families. Responsibilities will include supervision of patient therapeutic meals including monitoring eating disorder behaviors. You will also identify cases that need psychiatric or more intensive services for intervention as well as handle referrals. In addition, you will participate in the Eating Disorders Program activities and Adolescent Health Performance Improvement Activities.
This position is 15 hours a week or two eight-hour shifts. Our ideal candidate will be a MSW/LCSW with three to five years of experience in Children and Adolescent/Young Adult eating disorders and individual/group counseling.
