Call for Applicants: IJED Associate Editor for Neuroscience and Biology Sector

The International Journal of Eating Disorders (IJED) is seeking to fill a position for an Associate Editor —a 5-year term starting in January 2015. IJED Associate Editors each assume responsibility for a specific sector mandate (either “Reviews,” “Case Reports,” “Translational Neuroscience and Biology,” or “Strategic Global Initiatives”). The Neuroscience and Biology position is next to come open.

Strong candidates will have an extensive neuroscience background, expertise in neuroscience-based research and practice in the eating disorders, and will (ideally) be well-versed in biological/medical aspects of the eating disorders. 

Responsibilities include serving as Action Editor on papers in the designated theme, conducting occasional first-hand reviews, attending monthly teleconferences with the IJED editorial team, and contributing generally to IJED vision and operations. Candidates for this position should have demonstrated editorial skills and experience. IJED is an international journal, and welcomes applicants from all areas of the globe.
