International Journal of Eating Disorders

Call for Papers

As the leading journal in the field, the International Journal of Eating Disorders invites submissions of scholarly papers for the following special topic:

Defining Recovery in Eating Disorders: Advances in Research, Practice and Policy
The overall goal of the Special Issue is to facilitate the development of an evidence-based consensus definition of recovery that is comprehensive, transdiagnostic, gender agnostic, psychometrically strong, and “disseminable” across settings and geography in the short term. We invite researchers and scholars both from within eating disorders and from related but separate fields to submit their cutting edge theoretical or empirical research to help establish such a definition of recovery from eating disorders. Contributions may include original research papers, brief reports, systematic reviews, and (by invitation only) commentaries.

Deadline for Letter of Intent Submission: June 15, 2019
Deadline for Manuscript Submission: July 15, 2019
