Minimum Standards of Care - Cross-Cultural Action Guidelines for Eating Disorders

This guide from the Academy for Eating Disorders' (AED) Partners, Chapters, and Affiliates Committee, is intended as a resource to provide direction to health care professionals who do not have access to specialized treatment for their patients with Eating Disorders.

The guide is available in English, Potuguese, Italian, & Russian via links below and offers important basic facts and presenting signs and symptoms about eating disorders including:

  • Anorexia Nervosa
  • Bulimia Nervosa
  • Binge Eating Disorder (BED)
  • Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID)

The guide also provides online resources for futher reading.
