Global Research Think Tank and Closing

Research Practice Think Tank 2022

As the final event of the International Conference on Eating Disorders, the Research-Practice Think Tank provides an opportunity for reflection on the topics presented at the conference and their salience to research-practice integration. The Think Tank aims to promote research-practice integration (RPI) in our field by considering the conference through this lens and raising new RPI issues for consideration. This year’s session will include 5 discussants with varying backgrounds as clinicians and/or researchers. After the co-chairs introduce the Think Tank, each panelist will speak briefly about their view of the RPI implications of the research/interventions discussed during ICED – including areas of successful RPI and those in need of improvement. In addition to exchanging views during the session, conference attendees will have the opportunity to contribute research/practice-related discussion questions or comments.
