Conducting a global survey: The AED Global Survey
This presentation will share knowledge about building a global survey - from idea to implementation. The AED Global Survey (that is currently running and open for participation) aims to describe education and training of ED therapists across the globe, the level of satisfaction with the existing ED-specific training, and training needs as well as to gain a better understanding of the organization of the services that provide treatment of patients with an ED around the globe. The final version of the survey is based on the original version of the survey created by the European Chapter and the PCAC of AED. The AED global survey is translated into various languages and is running on the Qualtrics platform through the AED Account. The survey has been disseminated by AED through the AED platforms, the P, C and A’s, the national eating disorder organizations, and services.
