Are you interested in impacting the world of eating disorders, addiction, and recovery? Do you love participating in research and teaching the science behind eating disorders, substance use, and recovery? Do you want to contribute to the growing academic field of preventing, assessing, and treating eating disorders and addiction in our nation?

The Texas Tech University Department of Community, Family and Addiction Sciences is pleased to announce that we are accepting applications for the next cohort in our Ph.D. program in Addictive Disorders and Recovery Studies (ADRS). We would love for you to join our innovative program and impeccable faculty. You can check out the different research studies our program is currently involved in here. We have ample opportunities for graduate students to teach ADRS classes, as well as participate, design, and produce research in the addiction sciences field.

The initial deadline for applications for Fall 2024 is November 1, followed by a second deadline of March 1, if necessary, for consideration of additional applicants (if space in the cohort remains). However, there is a January 15 deadline for scholarship-related opportunities through the Graduate School.
