    Dear colleagues,

Researchers at the University of Montana are recruiting for a study on pediatric eating disorder (ED) treatment. Eligible participants for this study include youth (ages 8-17) with an ED and their family. Pre-screening will occur via telephone, and adolescents and their families who fit the initial criteria will complete a diagnostic assessment (in-person or remote) to determine ED diagnosis. Participants will also be screened for medical stability to engage in the outpatient level of care provided in this study. If eligible, parent(s)/guardian(s) and the adolescent will be asked to complete online, self-report questionnaires related to their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. All families will receive FBT, with half randomized to also receive a brief weight stigma intervention. All study procedures can be completed remotely or in-person at the University of Montana. For more information, please email us at lede.researchteam@mso.umt.edu or call us at 406-243-4476.

Thank you for your consideration! The flyer is attached.

    Warmly,

    Caitlin Martin-Wagar
