    Dear AED colleagues,

My name is Olivia, and I'm a PhD student conducting a qualitative study exploring embodiment among women who have experienced eating disorders or disordered eating in sport. I'm seeking to recruit racialized women who are reconciling their relationship with their body, food, and physical activity following experiences of eating disorders or disordered eating as an athlete.

Participation will involve three rounds of data collection, each including (1) a photo-taking activity where participants will take photos that capture their experiences of embodiment, followed by (2) a one-on-one interview (virtual or in-person) to discuss their photos. Participants will receive $40 CAD in compensation for their time after each round of data collection.

    I am recruiting participants who:

    1. Identify as a woman
    2. Identify as being part of Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour communities
    3. Are 18+ years of age
    4. Experienced an eating disorder or disordered eating as a competitive athlete
    5. Are actively working toward reconciling their relationship with their body, food, or physical activity
    6. Have a photo-taking device (e.g., smartphone)

Interested individuals can contact PhD student Olivia Feng at olivia.feng@mail.mcgill.ca.

    Thank you!

    Sincerely,

    Olivia
