Equip is a virtual program helping families recover from eating disorders at home with comprehensive, gold-standard care created by experts in the field and people in recovery. Equip's five-person care teams include dietitians, physicians, therapists, and mentors who deliver wrap-around support to provide families healing and lasting recovery.
We created Equip to increase access to evidence-based treatment for all people affected by eating disorders. In line with this mission, we are committed to partnering closely with insurance companies and ensuring our team, patients, treatment, and brand reflect the diversity of those affected by eating disorders.
About the role:
Equip's Research mission is to become a leader in eating disorder research. The core components of Equip's Research mission are to be the go-to source for evidence based treatment, use empirical data to inform treatment and improve outreach, and conduct experiments to improve eating disorder treatment. To meet our objectives, our team conducts rigorous research to improve the treatment we provide our patients and to advance the eating disorder field.
We are seeking passionate and qualified candidates for a postdoctoral research fellowship with the Equip Research Team. Fellows will work directly with the Equip Research Team in carrying out our mission to not only improve access to treatment for all patients with an eating disorder but to pioneer new research to improve long-lasting recovery. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals who are academically trained but interested in a transition to industry.
