    CEBT is excited to announce TWO upcoming workshops for clinicians looking for training in eating disorders and DBT!
    Our experience in the field highlights two distinct populations of clinicians seeking training: those already trained in eating disorder treatments wanting to learn DBT, and clinicians trained in DBT wanting to learn to treat eating disorders.
    Tailored to meet the needs of both groups , these intermediate level workshops will be facilitated by internationally known experts Lucene Wisniewski, PhD, FAED, and Anita Federici, PhD, CPsych, FAED.
    Intended audience for workshop one: You are trained in eating disorders treatment and want to learn more about DBT
    What: " Incorporating DBT into Eating Disorder Treatment"
    When:  Wednesday September 18th
                  11:00am – 7:00PM EST
    Cost:     $349  ( Early bird registration $299 by August 31st)
    CE:         6 CE's per American Psychological Association
    Designed for clinicians with experience treating eating disorders, participants will learn how to use DBT theory and interventions in the treatment of these disorders. Through lectures, case examples, small group exercises and role plays, participants will have the opportunity to observe and practice DBT case conceptualization and treatment strategies for those diagnosed with an eating disorder.
     
    Intended audience for workshop two: You are trained in DBT and want to learn more about  addressing eating disorders.

    When: Wednesday December 11th
                 11:00am – 7:00PM EST

    In this intermediate-level workshop, participants will learn how to assess and treat eating disorders within the context of providing DBT. Through lectures, case examples, small group exercises and role plays, participants will have the opportunity to observe and practice case conceptualization and interventions for patients with complex eating disorders.
    Instructor Credentials:
     Lucene Wisniewski, PhD, FAED, is an internationally recognized leader in eating disorder treatment and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, with more than 25 years of experience. She has taught hundreds of workshops and seminars and has authored numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and invited book chapters. She has also provided consultation and training to eating disorder clinics around the globe. Dr. Wisniewski specializes in treating complex, co-morbid eating disorders, and in 2013 received the Outstanding Clinician Award from the Academy for Eating Disorders. She is the founder and Chief Clinical Officer of the Center for Evidence-Based Treatment Ohio, serving patients across the U.S., and Wisniewski Psychology Services, PLLC, in New York.
     Anita Federici, PhD, CPsych, FAED, is a clinical psychologist and founder of The Centre for Psychology and Emotion Regulation, a private clinic in Ontario specializing in the assessment and treatment of eating disorders, personality disorders, and trauma. She is an expert therapist, teacher, researcher and consultant and is internationally known for her comprehensive team training and clinical consultation. Dr. Federici works extensively with hospitals and community organizations as a program developer and team consultant. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and invited book chapters. To date, she has provided more than 375 lectures and workshops on eating disorders, MED-DBT, and compassionate care for complex needs.
