UCSF Eating Disorder Clinical Postdoctoral Fellowship Position 2025-2026
The University of California, San Francisco Eating Disorders Program is recruiting for a one year Full-Time Clinical Psychology Postdoctoral Fellow to start July 1 or September 1 of 2025.
Fellowship description: The UCSF Eating Disorders Program provides comprehensive, evidence-based, culturally-humble medical and psychiatric care for individuals with eating disorders (up to age 25) and their families. The fellow will work with our multidisciplinary team and will conduct inpatient and outpatient assessments, evidence-based individual and family treatments (CBT-E, FBT), and groups (e.g., FBT workshop). Consistent with requirements for licensure in California and other states, the fellow will receive a minimum of four hours of weekly supervision and will participate in weekly case conferences and a biweekly training seminar. Additionally, the fellow will have the option of engaging in up to four hours of protected research time per week. The UCSF Eating Disorders program is highly collaborative, with faculty and learners engaging in a variety of clinical, research, teaching, supervisory, and service-related roles in our department and beyond. We encourage fellows to pursue elective activities in support of their individual career goals.
Requirements: We are seeking applicants who will have completed a predoctoral internship and doctoral degree prior to the start date, have experience in evidence-based interventions, and are committed to serving youth and families from diverse backgrounds. We recognize that training in eating disorders is specialized and that many potential candidates may not have had extensive experience in this area. Our team is committed to providing training in eating disorders assessment and treatment as needed, provided the candidate possesses a solid foundation in other evidence-based interventions. Therefore, applicants interested in eating disorders are encouraged to apply even without prior specialized training in eating disorders. UCSF and our team are dedicated to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and we are committed to considering candidates from a wide range of backgrounds and training experiences.
Salary and benefits: Competitive salary with robust benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, life, and disability. Please contact for more information.
