The University of California, San Francisco Eating Disorders Program is recruiting for a one year Full-Time Clinical Psychology Postdoctoral Fellow to start July 1 or September 1, 2026.

Fellowship description. The UCSF Eating Disorders Program provides comprehensive, evidence-based, culturally-humble medical and psychiatric care for individuals with eating disorders (up to age 25) and their families. The fellow will work with our multidisciplinary team and will conduct inpatient and outpatient assessments, evidence-based individual and family treatments (CBT-E, FBT), and groups (e.g., FBT and ARFID caregiver workshops). Fellow will receive a minimum of four hours of weekly supervision and will participate in weekly case conferences and a biweekly training seminar. Fellows may also pursue elective activities in support of their individual career goals, with the option of utilizing up to four hours of protected time per week for elective activities (e.g., contributing to research endeavors, co-leading group run by another clinical program). The UCSF Eating Disorders Program is highly collaborative, with faculty and learners engaging in a variety of clinical, research, teaching, supervisory, and service-related roles in our department and beyond.

    Requirements.
    - Completed a predoctoral psychology internship and doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology prior to the start date
    - Experience in evidence-based interventions, and committed to serving youth and families from a range of backgrounds. Training in eating disorders is specialized and many potential candidates may not have had extensive experience in this area. Our team is committed to providing training in eating disorders assessment and treatment as needed, provided the candidate possesses a solid foundation in other evidence-based interventions.
    - The postdoctoral fellowship is open to all who meet academic, professional, and interest criteria. The selection process for new trainees is in compliance with the State of California Proposition 209, UC policies, PRIDE values, and federal laws.
