On behalf of the 2018 ICED Scientific Committee, we look forward to giving you a warm welcome in Chicago. The conference is set to expand our community and perspectives via a stimulating keynote from clinical psychologist Alan Kazdin (Yale University) on reducing the burdens of eating disorders, and plenaries featuring leading experts discussing policy and strategic science, the gut microbiome, community participatory research, and defining recovery. In addition, the conference will showcase useful and interesting workshops, papers, posters, and networking events right in the heart of Chicago, a city renowned for its architecture, museums, music, food, and diverse neighbourhoods.

We look forward to seeing you at ICED 2018!
