DESCRIPTION

Involves patient care services for patients with eating disorders and a range of comorbid mental health disorders, often severe including eating disorders, major depressive disorders, substance use disorders, generalized anxiety disorder, or bipolar disorder. Settings may be inpatient, partial hospitalization and outpatient. Patient care may be provided by a combination of licensed clinicians, as well as counselors and crisis intervention specialists. Patients require treatment in a specialized and controlled environment. Primary emphasis on evidence based treatment and attempt where possible to help patients (with parents help) to control their own lives in the outside world, with the use of a combination of psychiatric drugs and psychotherapy.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Masters Level License (MFT, LCSW, LPCC) for a minimum of two (2) years to provide clinical supervision and support to the unlicensed staff.

  • Master's degree in related area.

  • Three (3+) or more years of relevant experience.

  • Strong skills in providing individual and group behavioral therapy, behavioral analysis and/ or educational interventions.
