    Eating Disorders Post-Doctoral Fellow

    Cadence Child & Adolescent Therapy (, an evidence-based child and adolescent practice clinic in Bellevue, WA, is seeking experienced Post-Doctoral Fellows with interest in building their clinical skills in the areas of eating disorders treatment and co-morbid disorders, including anxiety and mood disorders.  Training will focus on developing skills in the areas of Family-Based Treatment (FBT), CBT-Enhanced and DBT. Cadence was one of the first Linehan Board of Certification Certified DBT Programs. In addition, specialized training is offered in our anxiety treatment program. This fellowship is an ideal fit if you want to:

    • provide the highest standard of FBT, CBT and DBT care to children, adolescents and their parents
    • receive weekly didactic trainings covering a wide range evidence-based treatments for children, adolescents, and families
    • receive individual supervision, group supervision, and additional opportunities to participate in case conferences, grand rounds, small team consultation and supervision seminars.
    • gain experience coordinating multi-disciplinary outpatient treatment
    • receive high quality supervision in FBT, CBT and DBT
    • live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, which blends the metropolitan experiences of the city of Seattle with breathtaking lake and mountain scenery and plentiful outdoor adventures.

    In addition to learning and providing Family Based Treatment for eating disorders (FBT), Post-Doctoral Fellows will have the opportunity to learn and practice a wide range of evidence-based treatments including Comprehensive DBT, Behavioral Activation for depression, Prolonged Exposure for trauma, exposure-based treatments for anxiety, and Behavioral Parent Training. Eating disorders training with be combined with clinical training in our Anxiety Program and/or our DBT program.     Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PhD or PsyD) should be complete by start of fellowship. Preferred applicants will have a background in eating disorders treatment and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and a willingness to learn and develop mastery in evidence-based treatments.
