The Eating Disorders Center (EDC) at the Evidence Based Treatment Centers of Seattle (EBTCS) invites applications for our post-doctoral fellowship! We are accepting applications for a joint DBT/Eating Disorders Center postdoctoral position, as well. The EDC is a multidisciplinary, outpatient center specializing in evidence-based eating disorder treatment. We are part of EBTCS, which is a nationally recognized specialty clinic in the heart of beautiful downtown Seattle and is comprised of the DBT Center, the Anxiety Center, the Child Anxiety Center, and the Eating Disorders Center. We have a compassionate, supportive work environment that prioritizes inclusivity as well as personal and professional growth. EBTCS strongly values diversity and is committed to building and maintaining an anti-racist culture through monthly meetings, presentations, and readings.

Please see our website for more information: https://ebtseattle.com/about-us/postdoctoral-training-program/eating-disorders/

The position will include training by experts in the use of evidence-based treatments for eating disorders, including Enhanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT-E) and Family-Based Treatment (FBT). Fellows provide outpatient therapy for clients with the full range of eating related disorders and also have the opportunity to work with clients in our intensive outpatient (IOP) program for Anorexia Nervosa. Activities may also include participating in program development and administration, assisting with our client outcomes monitoring program, and participating in our practice-based research program. Fellows receive two hours of supervision each week, attend our weekly EDC team and CE program, and have opportunities for additional training. We love including post-docs as an integral part of our dynamic team.

All positions start in Fall 2022. The starting salary is $52,000/year and once licensed this increases to $60,000/year. Although the position requires a 2-year commitment, there is an opportunity in the second year for promotion to a training staff-level position if the fellow has demonstrated meeting program-specific competencies.

Please email the following to Danny O'Rourke, PhD ABPP, Director of Training and Education (dorourke@ebtseattle.com):

All applications must be submitted by December 1, 2021.

We welcome candidates to apply who have work visas sponsored by an outside entity for at least 2 years from the start of the fellowship. Unfortunately, we are unable to sponsor visas ourselves.
