We are a multidisciplinary group focused on connecting professionals with a common interest in technology and its emerging applications within the field of eating disorders.
OUR GOALS
- Connecting clinicians and researchers passionate about improving or disseminating resources for people with eating disorders and their families through technology
- Introducing our SIG members to other organizations or groups with a similar mission, including AED’s Social Media Committee
- Building a centralized hub of information about new/existing services that leverage technology to extend or expand eating disorder treatment, especially to those who may not otherwise have access
- Expanding the understanding of technology-related issues and laws in various countries
