About SIGs
Choosing to join a Special Interest Group may be one of the most important decisions of your career.
Special Interest Groups (SIGs) bring together AED members with personal and professional interests in distinct areas of eating disorders – body image, family therapy, medical care and psychodynamic psychotherapy, just to name a few. Each SIG organizes itself around those specific activities that best serve its practitioner and research-based constituencies. Follow this link to read the AED SIG policy document.
To join a SIG, simply update the SIG tab in your member profile under the My AED section at the top of the AED website, and check the SIG(s) of interest to you, and you will be automatically added to the SIG private online community.
